the village of those that we can't speak of...

I have watched "The village" today.

It's a very WELL DONE movie. Definitely one of the BEST this year !

It is not those cliche kind of horror movie as most of the people thought it is due to the way they present it on their trailers and advertisements. If you are having this mentality that it is a horror movie, that will scare you out of your nerves, better don't watch it, you will get very disappointed.

The plot is very unique, one of a kind...

For those who had watched it, you will realize that this movie is all about humans greed and selfishness. It show how pathetic a selfish human can be. So selfish that it could destroy the whole generation.

Due to the death of their friends and familys, this group of people decided to isolate themselves from the world. Because they think that it's the root of all evil - money, that cause the death of their friends and family. It's money that makes them greedy and selfish which drive them to their graves.

So, in order not to lose anymore of their friends and family to the greed of money and their selfishness, they came out with a perfect idea to isolate themselves. Not only themselves, their future generation also. Proclaiming that they want to protect their innocent friends and family from the world corruption systems. Keeping them away from greed and selfishness that leads to death.

Well, let's look at it this way. Yes, they have successfully break off the systems of money in their own isolation. But, in the end, this group of people are still being bound by their own selfishness. They are SELFISH, to keep their younger generation away from the world. They are SELFISH to let their younger generation think that they can't go beyond the woods to see what is outside. That group of people only think about their own good.

I highly recommend this movie. Just throw away the concept of those horror movie and let the plot slowly unfold when u watch it...






But, be very careful of " those that we can't speak of ". They might be hiding in the woods near your house.
